WHY GOOD FRIDAY?

Why is it good FRIDAY? It is called GOOD FRIDAY for one reason and one reason only.

FRIDAY IS PAYDAY and the wages of SIN is death. And Saturday we get the day off. Our work is done, now we can rest.

It is ALL the FRIDAY implies.

For the entire Bible is focused on the fall of man and the resulting curse of sin and the LAW of God being GIVEN for the reminder of the wrongs done, and the WORK involved to have a relationship with God.

GOOD-FRIDAY, the day before the GREATEST SABATH ever ordained of GOD, the eternal SABATH, a divinely prescribed dose of REST... for Christ died ONCE, so our REST is eternal.

The curse of SIN is removed and now man can come to GOD FREELY through CHRIST.

So why is it called Good FRIDAY? Because the GREATEST SATURDAY comes in the morning!
